Nearly 5,000 Missourians...
with developmental disabilities are waiting for services they desperately need.
That includes children who deserve to thrive, to grow up with their brothers and sisters, and to live among family and friends; teens who deserve to graduate high school to adult life and work; and adults whose parents are aging and who deserve to continue living in the community — not in nursing homes.
Their families are waiting too, for support in leading regular lives.
They're not apart from us – they’re a part of us.
They're our family, friends and neighbors, clinging to hope, but sentenced to wait .
